This semester we piloted a new social activism course for Saturday Morning Art Classes, Art For Me & Art For We. Inspired by youth activists such as Amariyanna Copeny (Little Miss Flint), this class explores ways in which art can make an impact in the world around us. If you’ve been following Amariyanna’s activism and are interested in further work on the Flint Michigan water crisis, tune in to the Visiting Artists & Scholars conversation with LaToya Ruby Frasier, creator of Flint Is Family. Event will be free via Zoom, registration link in bio.
