Focus East seniors! 🎓 Graduation is just around the corner and here is all you need to know about the big day!

Rehearsal begins at 10:30am on June 2 in the Short North Ballroom at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.

The graduation ceremony begins at 6pm, graduates need to arrive by 4:45pm.
Grads and attendees: Please park at the Goodale Parking garage, located at 66 E. Goodale Street. It is $10 parking until 8:30pm.

Once you park, cross the pedestrian bridge on the third level and follow signs for the Short North Ballroom.

“If we’re not treating our trauma, then we are doing a disservice to others” 🫶🏾❤️🔥

In our conversation with Support Services Director Tiffany Delong, she reminded us that caring for others begins with caring for ourselves. Secondary trauma and anxiety are real challenges for those constantly pouring into others, which is why seeking support, building healthy coping habits, and creating space to recharge matters.

Faith in God gives us strength and hope, but wisdom also calls us to take practical steps toward healing, community, accountability, and rest. When we prioritize our mental and emotional well-being, we are better equipped to serve, lead, and love others well.

POV: Society has counted you out but your school is counting on you to make your life count !!! 🥹❤️

While wrapping up the school year, our students were asked to reflect upon and share an inspirational quote, that has impacted & inspired them, that they would like to share to inspire others ….we were very impressed to hear what our youth had to say !

Many of them had a fav that immediately came to mind, others we allowed the take out their phones for a few moments to discover a quote online that resonated with where they are on their journey ❤️
