Through Fisher's Global Applied Projects (GAP) program, Full-Time MBA (FTMBA) students partnered with German plastics recycling company MKV to develop a U.S. market entry strategy. Their recommendations helped shape the company's decision to establish a sales office in Akron, Ohio, demonstrating how experiential learning can influence global business decisions and strengthen Ohio's economy.

First-year Full-Time MBA students spent 15 weeks partnering with companies across Ohio to solve live business problems, develop executive-level recommendations, and create meaningful value for their clients as part of the Business Lab Challenge.

Working with organizations ranging from startups and family-owned businesses to nationally recognized companies, students gained hands-on experience in consulting, stakeholder management, strategic communication, and decision-making under uncertainty.

The result? More than a class project. It was an opportunity to turn classroom learning into real-world impact while building the skills and confidence needed for today's business environment.

We enjoyed hosting our Working Professional MBA Preview Day and connecting with so many prospective students!

Guests learned more about the program, heard firsthand experiences from a panel of current students, and gained insight from our Office of Career Management. The day wrapped up with a campus tour and a social hour at the Varsity Club.
