Victor and Caroline traveled to Costa Rica to visit EARTH University and connect with students interested in international internship opportunities through The Ohio Program.

During the visit, they shared more about our program, met with students, and talked about the professional experiences available in the U.S.

EARTH continues to prepare strong young professionals in agriculture, and we are always excited to connect with students who are looking for their next international experience.

We hope to welcome more EARTH students and graduates to The Ohio Program soon!

From India to Maryland!

Meet Chaitra, from India, as she shares her experience training in the Horticulture Department at Chevy Chase Club in Maryland.

From hands-on landscaping and plant care to learning how a professional landscape operation is managed, Chaitra has gained valuable skills and experiences that she can take back with her wherever her career takes her.

Her journey is a great example of how international training can open doors, build confidence, and connect young horticulture professionals from around the world.

🌎 Another group has joined the Ohio Program! 🇺🇸

Over the past two weeks, we welcomed new interns from 🇭🇳 Honduras, 🇨🇴 Colombia, 🇺🇾 Uruguay, and 🇧🇿 Belize.

They are starting a new international experience, gaining hands-on training, learning about U.S. agriculture, and becoming part of our global TOP community.

Welcome to our new group of Ohio Program interns! 🇺🇸🌎

This week, interns from South Africa, Honduras, El Salvador, Ecuador, Brazil, and Switzerland are starting their new experience in the U.S.!

They are heading to Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota, and California for internships in swine production, crops, and horticulture.

We’re happy to have you here. Welcome to the Ohio Program family! 🎉

Meet Paballo Mosa Kevin from Free State, South Africa 🇿🇦 🐷🇺🇸

Paballo came to the United States through the Ohio Program to gain cultural experience and expand his knowledge of swine production.

During his internship, he is gaining hands-on experience in areas such as gestation, farrowing, and artificial insemination, while also learning how production practices in the U.S. compare with those he knows from South Africa.

For Paballo, this experience is about seeing a different production system firsthand, learning new practices, and building knowledge he can take with him into his future career.

Another example of what international agricultural exchange is all about.

Representing Guatemala through global experiences!🇬🇹

Diana Forno, from Guatemala and a graduate of EARTH University, is completing her internship at Atlantic Nurseries through The Ohio International Intern Program. This year, she also served as a volunteer at Cultivate’26 by AmericanHort, gaining firsthand exposure to the horticulture industry and strengthening her professional skills through this unique experience.
