Thank you to all who performed and attended our first ever Band In Bloom event this past April!! Here are a few photos from the recital…and yes, the desserts tasted as good as they look! 🧁🌸

Join us this Thursday at 7pm for our final concert of the year! After the final piece, we will hold a brief awards ceremony to recognize the seniors for their contribution to the program. The students cannot wait to share what they’ve been working on!

Congratulations to the CEHS Symphonic Band on a fantastic performance at ISSMA contest this past Saturday! The band received a GOLD WITH DISTINCTION and had a stellar score in sight-reading!

Special thanks to our two guest clinicians who worked with the band and offered feedback in rehearsals leading up to the performance.

The CEHS Jazz Band enjoyed their performance tour last week visiting Clifty Creek, CSA Fodrea, Smith, and CSA Lincoln elementaries!! See videos in the comment section.

It was such a fun day of sharing music with younger students and encouraging the current 5th graders to sign up for band next year!

If you know a 5th grader (or even middle school student!) interested in joining band, please encourage them to attend one of our upcoming sign up nights on either April 7th at Southside or April 15th at Richards both from 4:30-7:30pm.

Join us for an afternoon of tea and refreshments while the students of Columbus East High School perform chamber music! Musical selections will be performed on piano, flute, clarinet, trumpet, and more!

Please note this event requires a prepurchased ticket. You may purchase either a single admission ticket or a table of four for a reduced price. There will be also be a silent auction happening, so please plan to bring cash or check to the event.
