Your first chance to see the Sound & Spirit of Columbus perform their 2026 show "What Remains" will be next Thursday 8/27. Family friendly activities, food trucks, and more all begin at 5:30 PM.

Ms. Welker and a handful of Columbus East Band alumni have been busy rehearsing for the Mill Race Theatre production of The SpongeBob Musical, which opens TONIGHT!

If you’re looking for something to do, consider attending this wonderful show full of exceptional talent! Shows are July 16th-18th at 6:30pm and July 19th at 2:30pm at Columbus East. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door.

**Extra credit for any student who counts the number of key changes from start to finish and tells Ms. Welker after the show!**

Join us this Thursday at 7pm for our final concert of the year! After the final piece, we will hold a brief awards ceremony to recognize the seniors for their contribution to the program. The students cannot wait to share what they’ve been working on!

Congratulations to the CEHS Symphonic Band on a fantastic performance at ISSMA contest this past Saturday! The band received a GOLD WITH DISTINCTION and had a stellar score in sight-reading!

Special thanks to our two guest clinicians who worked with the band and offered feedback in rehearsals leading up to the performance.
