Did you know employer ethics training is the first step for prospective DoW SkillBridge providers?​

Before submitting an application, prospective providers should complete the required ethics course and begin gathering the materials needed to support their application.​

Preparing early helps organizations better understand the process, meet program requirements, and position themselves to support transitioning service members through approved training opportunities.​

Prospective providers can also attend the bi-weekly SkillBridge New Provider Application Process Information Session to learn more.​

As our nation celebrates America's 250th anniversary this weekend, The McCoin Institute honors the generations of Americans who have served their communities and our country.

This milestone is more than a celebration of our past. It is a reminder that the future of our nation depends on developing leaders, expanding educational opportunities, and preparing the next generation for meaningful careers and service.

As John F. Kennedy said:

"One person can make a difference, and everyone should try."

This quote has appeared on the McCoin Institute's challenge coin since our founding. It serves as a daily reminder that lasting change begins with individuals who choose to serve, lead, mentor, and invest in others. Together, those individual efforts shape stronger communities and a stronger nation.

To all who have worn the uniform, educated future leaders, and invested in their communities, thank you for helping shape the next 250 years.

We’re excited to share a potential opportunity through The McCoin Institute!

We are currently pursuing funding to host a two-day professional development workshop focused on advancing military-connected and veteran student and workforce success. This experience will bring together educators, workforce leaders, and community partners committed to strengthening outcomes for those who have served and their families.

We are actively seeking interest from the following 26 pre-designated locations:
Aberdeen, SD | Akron, OH | Biloxi, MS | Boulder, CO | Bradenton, FL | Charlotte, NC | Columbia, SC | Columbus, GA | Detroit, MI | Duluth, MN | Fort Wayne, IN | Gary, IN | Grand Forks, ND | Lexington, KY | Long Beach, CA | Macon, GA | Miami, FL | Milledgeville, GA | Myrtle Beach, SC | Palm Beach County, FL | Philadelphia, PA | San Jose, CA | St. Paul, MN | State College, PA | Tallahassee, FL | Wichita, KS

If selected for funding, all travel and hotel accommodations will be covered for participants to attend in Columbus, GA.
