This summer, 25 Hilliard City Schools students gained real-world experience through the Hilliard City Lab Tech Summer Internship!
In partnership with the City of Hilliard, students worked alongside industry professionals in engineering and technology to design solutions, build prototypes, and showcase their ideas at a final pitch event.

Ready to Ride? Ready to Drive? Join Us for Our First-Time Riders & Learn to Drive a School Bus Event
We are excited to welcome our newest bus riders and families to the First-Time Riders & Learn to Drive a School Bus Event on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 8 a.m. to noon at Hilliard Davidson High School (Band Practice Lot/Transportation Center), 5100 Davidson Road, Hilliard.
This special event is designed to help students feel comfortable, confident, and ready for their first day of school. Students will have the opportunity to learn important bus safety tips, explore a school bus, practice riding the bus, and meet members of our transportation team.
Adults interested in becoming a full-time or substitute school bus driver are also encouraged to attend. Meet our transportation staff, learn about the position, take a turn behind the wheel of a school bus with one of our certified trainers, and discover how you can join the Hilliard City Schools team.
