Spring has sprung in Ohio, which means, it's Ohio Deaf History month!

Celebrate with us and Ohio Citizens for Deaf Cultures!

Did you know...

Reverend James Hoge was a leader in the creation of service facilities for deaf persons in Ohio? Dr. Hoge was inspired when he read a letter from the Pennsylvania Institution, which invited and served Ohio's deaf children.

You can learn more about Dr. Hoge and the creation of services at https://osd.ohio.gov/about/history

Events for teens!

Reminder about the 2 events DSC is hosting next week for its youth.

St. Patrick's Day Celebration for DSC's Youth on Facebook LIVE will be on Tuesday, March 15th from 3pm to 5pm. This is an opportunity for those that do not feel comfortable in a large setting yet or cannot attend Thursday's event. Just log on to DSc's FB page and wait for the video to go LIVE!

We will still be hosting our DSC Youth St. Patrick’s Day/Welcome Back Celebration on Thursday, March 17th, from 3pm to 6pm at Stoneybrook Church (485 Cherry Bottom Rd, Gahanna, OH 43230). Pizza and drinks will be provided. We ask that parents stay with their kids during this event. We are also using this time to gather information on how we can best serve the families and brainstorm ideas on the best locations that are more accessible for families. RSVP is not required but would help know how many tables/pizzas to order. Please email [email protected] to RSVP
