On this Earth Day, let us be reminded that God made us stewards for all of His creation. This includes the land, the sea, the sky, the animals, and every living thing - including each other and ourselves. Our schools foster this stewardship in each of our students from the very start!

Today is a day of sadness, of somber waiting. We mourn Christ's suffering and death, but we are not filled with despair because we know there is more. The story does not end today. It does not end in death. The beauty of our faith and of a Catholic education is that we believe in Christ's promises and are filled with hope for His resurrection and our salvation!

All Saints Academy 7th and 8th grade drama group recently performed the musical play "Godspell." This modern telling of the call to missionary discipleship is the perfect way for our students to celebrate Holy Week and to embrace their own role in sharing the Gospel message in today's world!

Today's funeral Mass for Fr. Schalk's mother Christ The King Church brings every aspect of our faith into focus. Our earthly journey only has purpose because of the ultimate destination - heaven. As we enter into Holy Week, we are grateful for the passion, suffering, death, and resurrection of Christ. He accepted His journey so ours could be possible. Catholic schools help our students to live with purpose and eyes on heaven!
