I started this painting approximately 2 years ago. I had an interesting base layer but didn't know what to build upon it. As creatives, sometimes we're required to be patient and let the solutions appear in their own time.

Here's another painting I started in class and finished recently. I was going to stick with greens, yellows and white but got bored with that color scheme, so I added red.

I started this painting approximately 4 years ago and finally finished it last week. Sometimes I get stuck in the creative process and need to circle back later...in this case much later!

What I really like about this painting is how I was inspired to use colors and marks that I've never tried before. It feels like a creative breakthrough.
