What a wonderful end of the year cookout and worship service at jacob's porch this past weekend. Thank you to the JP board for hosting a cookout for the students.

I always love it when new board members experience the place for the first time. One said to me,” i didn’t realize that so many students were involved here. In one room during dinner you had a student reciting poetry to the gathered group, others present were helping a homeless woman get some food and supplies so she could shower downstairs, your sacristans were preparing the space for worship and everyone was having fun including the board members”.

Sometimes i forget how special it is around here. I enjoyed hearing the commentary from new eyes on what sometimes becomes mundane to us.

We also placed graduation stoles on our seniors who were able to be there. Another pic from holy week. And today a student review and planning session for next fall.

Can’t believe finals are upon us and the year is almost done. It’s been a wild but good ride. Congrats to the class of 2026🙌

Spring Semester Photo Dump! We have so many amazing people in our community from all over the city. Not only were students’ passions celebrated during Wednesday Night affinity night presentations, we had an incredible time joyfully singing during party, we swapped clothes and books with our Q***r As Bible small groups, played gaga ball and made care packages during the Porch Lock In, and had chances to enjoy lunch and conversations with Adults from Goodwill ADS. It has been a full semester and as we get close to the end, this Sunday we will be honoring our seniors 💕
