We think you should save the date for the Back to School conference with Cindy Rollins ...

But you should come to CM Ohio: Set Your Feet *first* because there's a chance you'll win a ticket!

We always appreciate Cindy's support, generosity, and encouragement.

We have a couple of generous, *anonymous* sponsors this year.

This first reached out to me and said I want to donate! And then brought me this goody bag of journals, stickers, and prayer cards. What a treasure trove!

Ten attendees will go home from with an item from this stash! Have you registered yet?

Danielle Danielle | Village Hymns sent us this lovely bundle as a giveaway - a Jesus Paid it All canvas bag; a I need thee every hour tea towel, and a journal with the hymn we always sing at S*F - 'Be Thou my Vision.'

The picture does not do it justice. One attendee will take this package home! Please check out Village Hymns Co's other offerings and let her know you came from Set Your Feet.

Every year S*F has some really amazing door prize donors... Starting today we're sharing the 2026 door prizes. Wildwood Learning Community's donation is a canvas print of an Alice Schille - the ohio artist that is the focus of Blossom North Laurel 's presentation

Registration is still open! We hope you'll join us!

Drumroll Please!

We announced our guest speaker, Abby Wahl from Scholé Sisters, after last year’s retreat. Today, we’re excited to share more about her and her planned sessions. Abby’s enthusiasm for educating the whole person - mind, body, and soul - is one of the reasons we were so excited to bring her to Set Your Feet 2026.

Abby Wahl has been married to Matt for over 20 years. She has five children ages 16-21 -- three will be graduated from her homeschool by Set Your Feet -- and she’s grandma to one. Abby has been homeschooling from the beginning and found Charlotte Mason when her oldest was in the middle grades. Her family lives in the country where they raise sheep. They are hunting enthusiasts. Those two things mean butchering is their family handicraft.

Abby loves lifting weights and reading big books: heavy weights and heavy books. She cheerfully participates in walking challenges with friends. She is the co-author of Scholé Every Day with Brandy Vencel and Mystie Winckler, and co-hostess to the podcast. You can find her active in their free Sistership community.

“Face to face and mind to mind: The attentive life”

Born persons need born persons to teach them. As homeschoolers it is essential to avoid offloading school to computer programs. We need to be face-to-face with our children, and we need to be mind-to-mind with great books and living books. Abby will discuss how we bring in the habit of attention as well as the atmosphere and living ideas, because that is how you have an attentive life.

“Living and active: health and wellness for the whole person”

We are minds, bodies, and souls. Our task is making sure all of those things work properly because we are born persons. We need to be addressing all of those things: not just our mind, not just the spiritual side, but the physical side too. We're going to talk about the whole person being educated and not being gnostics who have to define ourselves by attributes - whether strengths or weaknesses.

Set Your Feet will be in Columbus Ohio on July 17-18, 2026. More details about the schedule and registration can be found at https://setyourfeet.weebly.com/ #/ Registration
