The Buckeye Standup Comedy Fundraiser (formerly the “Torpedo Room Comedy Show” at the Gateway Film Center (even more formerly "Pizza, Beer, and Jokes" at Pizza Rustica)) has raised thousands of dollars for over 100 Ohio State student organizations since 2011. The best fundraiser on campus is BACK! The Torpedo Room Comedy Show has risen like a phoenix from the ashes as the Buckeye Standup Comedy Fundraiser, and we will resume having shows this October.
Interested in putting on a comedy show for your student organization where you keep 100% of the funds raised? We will be having weekly fundraisers on Mondays in the newly opened Ugly Tuna 2 at 195 Chittenden Ave right near campus. We are very excited to announce that the Torpedo Room Comedy Show is now an official Ohio State student organization fundraiser!
I am very excited to announce a new addition to the formerly one-man Torpedo Room team: Paul Banta. I look forward to growing this show and living happily ever after with this kind young man.
Make sure to check us out on the Oval before the Involvement Fair tomorrow! I'll be the annoying guy taping flyers to all 700 tables.
