The Ohio State University SENR China Research Abroad Program - 中國考證國外程序 Dr. Roger Williams takes undergraduate students to Guangxi China during the May session where research projects are conducted in China's forests.

The School of Environment and Natural Resources (SENR) China Research Abroad program enables students to develop their own research projects that are forest-based through the development of research proposals. The proposals that are developed are hypothesis-driven, and utilize the scientific method. With guidance from the program Director, the students implement their projects in the forests of Guangxi, China, collaborating with Guangxi Eco-Engineering Vocational and Technical Institute located in Liuzhou, Guangxi. After completing the on-site data collection, students analyze the data collected using statistical methods, and write-up a report on their findings and discoveries.
