AJE publishes special issues. So, if you have a topic in mind and would like to serve as a Guest Editor, please contact us.

Guest Editors have complete autonomy over the special issue. We use a double-blind review process. Our goal is to publish 4-5 papers in each issue. Guest Editors recruit the papers, recruit reviewers (with our assistance), and process the evaluation of all submissions. The decision of the Guest Editor is final.

We welcome submissions that are grounded in the literature and have something interesting to say about entrepreneurs and what they do. We welcome conceptual, empirical and qualitative studies. We also publish teaching cases if they include a teaching note.

All manuscripts are evaluated by at least two reviewers using a double blind review process. The review process generally takes between six and eight weeks.

Volume 13(2) will be published in December 2020. However, we will not ge able to mail copies to the authors until January 2021. A PDF will be emailed to each author.

We are in the process of uploading past issues of the journal on our website. We are adding the past issues in reverse order in which they were published. Please be patient and we will eventually load all of the past issues published under the name the American Journal of Entrepreneurship. We hope, but cannot promise, to upload all of the past issues when the journal title was the Southern Journal of Entrepreneurship. We are working from home and are happy to say that the journal will be published on schedule in June 2020.

We are excited to announce that the journal will publish Volume 13, Issue 1 in June 2020.
