"HIV: From Microbiology to Macrohistory" is a course co-taught by associate professors Jesse Kwiek of microbiology and Thomas McDow of history. The class examines HIV's evolution at a molecular level, as well as its global and historical expansion.

Congratulations to Dr. Li Wu, PhD (Professor, Veterinary Biosciences and Member of the Center for Retrovirus Research) who has been named a Fellow of the AAAS - The American Association for the Advancement of Science for his distinguished contributions to the field of molecular virology, particularly for the mechanisms of HIV replication and the virus interactions with host cells.
