Today, our Bishop Ready community took time to pause, reflect, learn, and remember.
For our faculty and staff, today also brought a personal moment of reflection as we remembered where we were on September 11, 2001. Many of us were students ourselves or just beginning our careers in education. We remember the uncertainty, the heartbreak, and the profound impact that day had on our nation.
Our students today were not yet born, but 25 years later, the memory and impact of September 11 have not been forgotten. We are grateful for the opportunity to talk with our students about the courage, compassion, and unity that followed that day, values we hold close to our hearts at Ready.
Today, we prayerfully remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our nation and protect the freedoms and safety we are blessed to experience today.
May we always remember.
May we always be grateful.
May we always pray.
And may God bless the USA.
