Faculty and Staff Appreciation Week is an annual celebration of Ohio State faculty and staff members to recognize their contributions to the university.

Throughout this week, several in-person and virtual activities are planned to thank you for your dedication to advancing the university’s mission. USAC invites you to have your picture taken with a member of our Buckeye Paws therapy dogs on Thursday, July 28, 10-11 a.m. in the James Cancer Hospital lower level conference room, L045. Our Buckeye Paws program is a very unique and supportive program for all faculty and staff.

Investiture Week: All Staff Wellness Event-
USAC and the Office of the Chief Wellness Officer are proud to celebrate the Investiture of Kristina M. Johnson, PhD, the 16th President of The Ohio State University. An all-staff wellness event will be held on Tuesday, November 16th, at the RPAC (and also live streamed), 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. This event is free and open to all University and Wexner Medical Center staff. More details and registration information will be forthcoming. For now, please save the date.

Each month, USAC will recognize 1 -2 employees through various media channels, including the USAC newsletter and social media accounts. Nominations can be submitted by completing the Staff Spotlight recognition form available on the USAC website and must be received by USAC no later than the 1st Friday of each month. Two virtual town halls will be held to gather input on the search for Ohio State’s next Senior Vice President, Talent, Culture and Human Resources. The town halls, which begin on May 11, will include remarks by the search committee chair, Anne Garcia, followed by a discussion on the desired qualifications of the next Senior Vice President, Talent, Culture and Human Resources. The input will be used to inform the search for our next HR leader.
