This week we will have one of our E-board members Brielle Hermstedt talk with us about client communication. We will meet many different types of client as veterinarians and are excited to hear about how to communicate best and work with bee keepers!

What's better than one HBVC meeting? Two! This week we'll have our regular biweekly Tuesday afternoon meeting as well as a collaboration with at their Friday morning meeting!
On Tuesday we'll be talking with Dr. Tracy Farone about being a honey bee veterinarian. We'll have the zoom meeting up on the screen in Wexner so we can all ask questions and still be together but if you can't make it you're also welcome to jump on the zoom from wherever you may be.
On Friday our very own will be talking about honey bee nutrition in the VMCA.

We love getting out into hives with classmates whenever we can! Brielle is holding a drone in this picture, here are some facts about drones:
- Drones are the only male bees in the hive
- It takes 24 days for a drone to emerge
- Drones only purpose is to mate with a queen to pass on their genetics
-Drones are very dependent on the worker bees for all of life's needs
-Drones are kicked out of the hive right before winter
