Philosophy

In 1981, the traditional seaside resort of La Punta, Callao- Cantolao, began to weave a recurring story in football for children. Our story begins with the enthusiasm of a group of parents determined to proudly support their children’s athletic concerns. With constant encouragement and family support came the first of many organized teams, parent-coaches, and Sunday league matches, along with the obligatory photos to remember. That same vision brought parents and their young protagonists into the hands of specialized sporting coaches. Quintessentially bringing underprivileged children in Callao the opportunity to master innate abilities in football and understand the value of teamwork. The plot has achieved astonishing results to become what is currently known as Academia Deportiva Cantolao (Cantolao Sports Academy), a center for sports training throughout Peru.
