Hello! It is time for cheerleading sign-ups for the fall!!

Sign-ups for Western Irish Cheer Camp and the 2026 Tackle Football Cheer Season are open!

Camp will be July 20-24th 6:30-7:30pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Grove City. All students entering Kindergarten through 8th grade are welcome.

The fee for Camp is $25 per student and includes a camp t-shirt and the opportunity to cheer in the Arts in the Alley Parade in the fall.

Need a new school uniform? Charity Newsies will provide a clothing voucher based on the school’s dress code. This is a single use voucher issued in the name of the child and school provided. It is non-transferable and must be used by the expiration date on the voucher.

Yesterday we celebrated our 8th Grade Graduation with a beautiful and meaningful Mass.

A special thank you to Father Hector for guiding us in such a heartfelt celebration and helping us honor this important milestone.

We are so proud of our graduates and all they have accomplished. As they take their next steps, we know they will carry the lessons, faith, and spirit of our school with them. 🎓

We wrapped up our last day of school today with the SMM Awards Ceremony! 🎉

One student from each grade level was recognized for showing what it means to be Kind, Respectful, Responsible, Ready to Learn, and full of SMM Spirit.

These awards reflect the heart of our school community, and it was so special to celebrate the students who lead by example each day. We are incredibly proud of their dedication and hard work this year! 💙✨

Dear SMM Families,

Due to significant flooding in the cafeteria of the main school building, we regret to inform you that school will be canceled for the remainder of the week. The damage has resulted in an extensive clean-up effort that will require the next several days to complete safely.

We sincerely apologize for this unexpected disruption and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this situation. Unfortunately, we are at the mercy of Mother Nature, and while we had hoped to finish the school year as planned, circumstances beyond our control have made that impossible.

In an effort to still celebrate our students together, today’s Award Ceremony will be moved to the Church at 2:00 PM TODAY. We understand this is very short notice, but if you are able to attend, we would love for you to join us as we recognize the accomplishments of our students.

TODAY will serve as the FINAL DAY for students in grades Prek-7th grades for this school year. Although this is not the ending we envisioned, we are incredibly grateful for the support, flexibility, and encouragement shown by our school families throughout the year.

*The 8th grade graduation ceremony will continue AS PLANNED. We look forward to celebrating our graduates who will report to the church hall at 6pm tomorrow. The ceremony will begin at 6:30pm.

We wish you and your family a blessed, safe, and well-deserved Summer Break. Thank you for being part of our school community, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back in August.

Our 8th graders are home safe, and our hearts are full! 🇺🇸✨ We are so grateful for an unforgettable trip and for the incredible guidance of Ms. Talebi, Ms. Alfaro, Mrs. Dent, Ms. Hernandez, and parent chaperone Mrs. Fox.

From Arlington National Cemetery and the Capitol to museums, memorials, and a meaningful visit to Gettysburg, our students experienced our nation’s history in a powerful way.

This trip was filled with learning, reflection, and memories that will last a lifetime. Welcome home, 8th grade — what a special way to finish your time with us! 🎓

Preschool celebrated their End of the Year Celebration! 🎉

We honored our students who are moving on to Kindergarten, as well as those returning to Preschool next year. It was a joyful time filled with smiles, laughter, and special memories.

Our celebration concluded with students singing their “Goodbye Friends” song—a sweet and meaningful way to end a wonderful year together. 💛
