To the Class of 2026,

You all were there with me during my very first year of teaching. We learned together, grew together, laughed together, and sometimes figured things out together one day at a time. It’s hard to put into words what this moment feels like because saying goodbye is not easy.
People always talk about what teachers give to students, but the truth is you gave so much to me too. You helped shape me into the educator and person I am today. I truly believe I’m only who I am because of who we both became through this journey together.
Thank you for your patience, your personalities, your challenges, your growth, and for allowing me to be part of your story.
No matter where life takes you, know that I will always be cheering for you.

When I take photos at a football game, I’m not just capturing action. I’m preserving atmosphere. Legacy. Humanity. The heartbeat of a team and a town that cannot be replicated by algorithms.
