Student Veterans Association at The Ohio State University (SVAOSU) had an incredible time participating in the 2025 MilVets Veterans Day Rally at the National Veterans Memorial and Museum (NVMM)! 🇺🇸
This annual rally is such a powerful demonstration of community, gratitude, and support for those who have served. It was truly inspiring to connect with so many fellow veterans, military families, and supporters from across the state.
A huge, heartfelt thank you to MilVets for hosting such a top-tier event. From the moving ceremonies and powerful speakers to the resources and camaraderie shared, the rally truly honored the spirit of Veterans Day. We especially appreciated the opportunity to share our mission and connect with incoming veterans who will soon transition to campus life!
As student veterans, we know the path from the uniform to the diploma can have its challenges. Being part of the MilVets Rally not only allows us to honor our service but also reinforces the strong veteran network we have here in Central Ohio.

🦃 Join Us in Supporting Buckeye Veterans This Thanksgiving at The Ohio State University

The Ohio State Student Veterans Association and the Ohio State Keenan Center for Entrepreneurship are assembling 40 care packages to support and celebrate our military and veteran students before Thanksgiving break.

We are inviting veteran-owned businesses and businesses that wish to give back to the veteran community to take part by donating small products, coupons, or branded giveaways. Your support helps connect our student veterans to local entrepreneurs and shows that the Buckeye community stands behind them.

Tomorrow is the Central Ohio Veterans Stand Down at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. You can walk in and register. The event is from 8am - 1pm. Come gather valuable community resources, get connected to your local VA, or just come be around other Veterans in a supportive environment.

From internship opportunities to career fairs, SVAOSU and MVS are here to provide the support, information, and resources for our military-connected students to succeed. Thanks to all who attended, more events to come.
