Help us celebrate our one-of-a-kind 4th grade math teacher, Meagan Cascone, for receiving the Outstanding 1st Year Teacher Nominee Certificate for the 2025-2026 school year! ✨
This recognition honors her outstanding dedication, passion, and excellence during her very first year of teaching. Her commitment to student success, innovative teaching, and professional growth has already made a lasting impact on our school community. 💟
Anyone at Wynnton Arts Academy will tell you, “You would never be able to tell she is a first-year teacher,” and mean it wholeheartedly. Her confidence, leadership, and love for students shine through in everything she does. 🌟
We are SO grateful for all she does and incredibly thankful she is ours. Congratulations, Ms. Cascone! 🫶🏽📚➗

Congratulations to our MCSD Top Teacher of the Year, 1st Grade Teacher Kati Morrell! 🎉
Ms. Morrell refers to ALL of her students as “legends,” and she truly treats each one that way. She works tirelessly to determine the individual needs of every child so she can meet them where they are, challenge them to grow, and help them succeed. From academic achievement to social and emotional well-being, she pours her heart into her students each and every day. She is also constantly finding ways to grow as a teacher and refine her practice to better serve her students. 🌟
Though humble and quiet, her passion, dedication, and impact shine brightly through the growth and success of her students. Wynnton is better because of educators like Ms. Morrell, and we are so proud and grateful she is ours! 🫶🏿

“Tell me you love your students without telling me you love your students…” ♥️✨
Just peep the VERY generous-sized snacks and drinks Mrs. Felfeli surprised her kindergarten students with after recognizing the Top 5 growth scores in STAR Early Literacy! Even sweeter — students got to tell her their favorite drink and snack ahead of time, and she made sure each one got exactly what they loved. 🍿🥤📚
Celebrating growth, encouraging hard work, and making students feel special is what it’s all about. This is just one small example of the many ways our teachers love and care for their students like their very own each and every day. 💕
We are so thankful for educators who go above and beyond to make learning meaningful, motivating, and full of joy! 🫶🏾

“Music brings joy to both the heart and mind.” 🎶
Our 2nd graders celebrated “May the 4th” with a fun Star Wars-themed lesson on musical form, while our 4th graders stayed engaged and on beat with rhythm centers! 🪐🌌🎵🎼
A big shoutout to our outstanding music teacher, Mrs. Potter, for creating meaningful, hands-on learning experiences. We are so thankful for our fine arts teachers who pour into their students each day—just like all of our incredible staff. Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it! 🩶

GMAS Pep Rally Parade + Fun for Our Littles! 🎉
Before GMAS started, we kicked things off in the best way with our GMAS Pep Rally Parade! Our entire school brought the energy, confidence, and excitement as we cheered 3rd-5th Grade on and got them ready to shine.✨
We are so proud of the hard work, focus, and perseverance our 3rd-5th graders showed! 👏🏾
And in the meantime, our kindergarteners reminded us what it’s all about—learning through play, laughter, and simply being kids. ☀️🩵🪁
