Half day with Scott today in his boat, setting up the ML2. Fish were set up a bit deeper in 14ft with the North wind the past day and today. We kept 4 and some nice perch. Scouting mission for an upcoming trip on a new lake. Fished 4 hrs, all were released. Ended with 4 legals, 1 slot. Took a little bit to find them, but fish were holding tight to the w**dline. One of the hardest to see, are those table fare size walleyes in the w**ds. First pic is a suspended walleye over deeper water, which is beginner's stuff. Second pic is eater size walleyes on a w**d edge. I can help you get set up and identify fish. Have you ever wondered why the slot limit on ceded territory lakes for walleyes is 1 fish over 24", when in the southern states it's 1 over 28"? Well this is the citizen resolution I've submitted to the DNR. Change the 1 over to 28" on all ceded territory lakes that have the slot. I will be at the spring hearing to present my case. I encourage others to file a resolution as well, then maybe our voices will be heard!
