Across Ohio, schools are redefining what high-quality STE(A)M education looks like and how it prepares students for the future.

Ohio’s STE(A)M School Designation recognizes schools that provide authentic, interdisciplinary, and personalized learning experiences that connect classroom learning to real-world applications and STEM careers. These schools build cultures of inquiry, collaboration, innovation, and entrepreneurial thinking, essential skills for today’s learners.

In February, the Ohio STEM Committee approved recommendations for seven schools in the 2025–2026 redesignation cycle. These schools represent a strong commitment to high-quality STE(A)M teaching and learning.

The CTE+STEM Innovation Lab is a three-day, hands-on professional learning experience designed for grades 7–12 CTE teachers ready to bring STEM to life in their CTE classrooms. Developed in partnership with the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce, this immersive workshop focuses on design thinking, career-connected learning, and building a strong STEM culture.
