Communication skills are becoming more imperative in a world where technology can do some of the heavy lifting when it comes to number crunching.

Answering questions. Proposing new ideas. Simply having an informal conversation. All of these scenarios require tact, wisdom and a sort of elegance unique to the accounting industry.
