For the month of May we’re moving Tuesday Afterschool open play at the LRC to Converge Park. Join us from 3-5 pm for Mud Kitchen on Tuesdays in May. The weather is great and the play is messy! $10/child, or grab a 10Pass for $5 drop in, CVLRC members are free! 1622 3rd Avenue in High Uptown.

We’re doing drive by LEMONADE STAND this Thursday! Come grab a cup and support our community park on your lunch break. 11-1 pm | 1622 3rd Avenue. You can even ride your bike to kick off Bike Month!

Don’t forget Saturdays are just for birthdays through May so we’re closed today but we have Mud Camp happening all weekend. Stop by and stomp some cob with us. 10-4 today at Converge Park 1622 3rd Avenue.

Saturdays are for the BIRTHDAYS! Book your birthday with to get that home-like feel without having it at your house. We bring the mess and play and fun without the clean up. May is booking fast. Plus, the LRC will come in CLUTCH for those HOT Summer birthday months.

We were small but mighty this weekend in our community park. Making small steps to see a big difference in a space that will be a unique offering for our community. As always, we invite you to be a part of what we’re growing and building. We need you. Not only as hands, but heart.

Upcoming Teen Lab!

🔍 Fun Forensics! 🧪

Calling all teen detectives to come help solve the Mystery of the Broken Cookie Jar!

We will explore blood types, finger print analysis, shoe tread prints, hair fibers, handwriting analysis and litmus test different pen’s ink. In the final week we will hold a mock trial! 👩🏽‍⚖️

This class will run on Fridays from April 18- May 23rd from 1:30-3 pm. $25 for the 6-week series for members or previous lab participants | $50 for the series for non-members.

* from my research this class can count for some science lab credit but the information I found is vague*

This weekend will be full of opportunities to give back, get dirty, and take in the sunshine. Join Mercer med students Saturday in the garden or our co-op families on Sunday. We will be pulling w**ds, moving dirt, digging holes, cooking over the fire and communing together.

Bring work gloves, messy clothes, reusable water bottles, something to cook over the fire (optional), any work tools you’d like to share (shovels, post hole diggers, w**d eaters, etc) and we’ll see you there! Kids are welcome!
