So, I've been cranking away at house histories, and dying to do some more! It is amazing the things I've come across for folks so far! Some of the things I've found have included older photos of hoses, pictures of previous owners, fascinating stories involving the house or the people who've lived in it, old real estate ads w/photos, and much much more. This is well beyond what you can find by Googling.
If you or anyone you know wants to know the history of their home, please DM me and share with your friends! This would especially cool for folks in Olde Town East, Victorian Village, or any neighborhood with homes a century old or older.
Did you know that the transfer data on the Auditor's site only goes back to 1920? This is due to a fire at the old City Hall that destroyed the property records for Franklin County. Thanks to digital archives, I can go back further!

Friends, for the time being, I'm cancelling this Saturday's workshop and the April presentation. Not only do I have compromised health issues, but I don't want anyone to feel obligated to show up with the current virus going around.
Here's the link to the packet I pass out to attendees, so you can still do the work on your own. :-)

I'm so sorry I'll be missing out on your friendly faces on Saturday. Take care, and I'll hopefully see all of you when the virus subsides.

Hello, Friends and Neighbors!
I created this page specifically to make my Hilltop history events public and shareable. (My group settings on Hilltop, U.S.A. Memories don't allow for public sharing.) So, spread the word! This is where you'll find my invites for the Home History Workshops and special Hilltop history presentations at West Gate Lodge No.623 F&AM and others around the neighborhood. 😊
