You can know your study backward and forward and still freeze when someone asks you to explain why you made a certain choice.

That’s exactly why rehearsal matters.

Missing one writing day isn't the problem.

Turning one missed day into three weeks is.

Life happens.
Schedules change.
Motivation comes and goes.

The key is learning how to restart quickly.

You don't have to "make up" for lost time.
You just have to begin again.

One paragraph today is always better than waiting for the perfect day tomorrow.

Your slides are not the hard part.

The real test is what happens after the slide deck ends and your committee starts asking questions.

One of the most important questions you may hear is:

“Why did you choose this methodology?”

And your answer cannot sound like a paragraph you copied from Chapter 3.

It needs to sound clear, grounded, and connected to your study.

A strong response explains:
• why this method fits your research question
• why another method was not the best choice
• how the method helps you answer what you set out to study

That kind of confidence does not come from memorizing your presentation.

It comes from practicing the questions before they count.

Do not comment METHOD unless you are ready to stop hoping you can answer under pressure and start practicing like your defense depends on it.
