Tomorrow, Thursday, May 21, is the final day to enroll or join the wait list for the Elementary ASP, limited spots available. After tomorrow, please check back in September to see if openings become available at your child’s school.

2026-2027 Enrollment Information

Elementary enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year will take place May 18-21 at our downtown office, located inside the Nebraska Extension – Platte County building (2715 13th Street).
Office hours are 8:00 AM–5:00 PM each day.

Please note that all of CPS, including the After School Program, will be closed on Friday, May 22.

Middle School First Quarter Enrollment will take place August 3 & 4.

Afterschool Professional Appreciation Week

This week, we are celebrating our incredible after school program staff at the Columbus After School Program!

Thank you for your dedication, patience, and care you show our students each and every day. You create a safe, supportive, and fun environment where kids can continue to learn, grow, and feel valued long after the school day ends.

From helping with homework to leading engaging activities and simply being a positive, consistent presence, you truly make a difference in the lives of our students and their families.

Your hard work does not go unnoticed, and we are so grateful for everything you do!

Middle School 3rd Quarter Enrollment will take place on Wednesday, December 17 in the CMS cafeteria after school till 5:00 pm or until clubs are full. Enrollment Forms and Information are hanging by the counselors office.

Huge thanks to everyone who joined us for the CPS Trunk-or-Treat and helped make our Lights On Afterschool celebration a success! Despite the chilly weather, our students and families showed up with warmth and enthusiasm. Congratulations to our After School Program team for winning Best Costumes tonight — well deserved!
