Started in 1980 by Dr Sandra Mathias and Dr Gregory VonStein, this OAKE endorsed program offers an elementary and choral track earning a Kodály certificate, MMME, or both with the opportunity to study at the Kodály Institute in Hungary.

It’s hard to believe week 2 is almost over! Today was wear a positive saying day. We also got to hear an amazing special topic by our own KIC faculty member, Dr. Andrea Solya! We were empowered by her presentation to use the folk music of our students, popular music, as a way to engage them and bridge the gap in music education. She gave us lots to think about!
