💚✨ Girl Scout Adventures are calling! ✨💚

Today, our DEMA girls had the opportunity to learn more about the exciting world of Girl Scouts and all of the amazing experiences, friendships, leadership opportunities, and adventures that come along with it! 🌼

Interested in joining? Girl Scout Adventure Day for NEW Girl Scouts is coming up Saturday, August 29 from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM at Dot’s Little House, 1807 17th St., Columbus, GA.

Families can enjoy a climbing wall, fire truck, face painting, outdoor activities, music, giveaways, free food and drinks, and more!

Thank you to Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia for visiting our Challengers and sharing this wonderful opportunity with our students! 💙🚀

Free Georgia Pre-K4 seats are currently available at seven Muscogee County School District elementary schools. Apply Today!

Pre-K provides a wonderful opportunity for children to build early literacy and math skills, develop social-emotional skills, and gain the confidence needed for a successful transition to kindergarten.

Open spots are available now on a first-come, first-served basis according to the application submission date. To secure a spot, please complete the online Pre-K application and online registration process.

⚾️🍑 What a special day for our DEMA Challengers! 💙💛

Our scholars had the honor of performing the National Anthem at the Columbus Clingstones game, and we are so proud of the way they represented DEMA! 🇺🇸🎶

A huge thank you to Mr. Anderson for preparing our students and helping them shine during this special opportunity.

We would also like to extend a very special thank you to our School Board Member, Pat Frey MCSD, for generously purchasing 40 tickets so that our scholars could attend and enjoy the game! Your support and generosity mean so much to our DEMA family, and we are truly appreciative! 💙💛

🎶⚾ DEMA is headed to the ballpark! ⚾🎶

We are so excited for our Downtown Elementary Magnet Academy students who will have the honor of singing the National Anthem at the Clingstones baseball game this Sunday, August 23! 🇺🇸🎤

Our Challengers will take the field at 3:55 PM as part of the MCSD Back-to-School Event, and we would love to see our DEMA families there cheering them on! 💙💛

A special thank you to our awesome music teacher Mr. Anderson for leading our students and Mrs. Sherri Mills for supporting them as they prepare for this special moment.

🍑⚾ Dr. Wiggins and Fuzzy the Clingstones Peach dropped by today to remind us that game day is only 6 DAYS AWAY!

We’re hoping DEMA will knock it out of the park on Sunday, August 23 at 4:05 PM as our very own DEMA Challengers sing the National Anthem! 🎶🚀

We can’t wait to cheer on our Challengers and Clingstones at the ballpark! 💙💛
