We've been back at Columbus for the last few weeks training again, and our first student of the year just passed their Private Pilot Checkride! Congrats TJ!

NOW is the time to apply for CadetInvest—if you’re a current cadet interested in pursuing a career in aviation, scholarships are available at every level to help you pursue your dreams.

If you’re interested in continuing your training towards your private pilot certificate, and participating in AFTA, specifically, go to CadetInvest and apply for CadetWings.

We get a lot of questions every summer about “how to apply” for AFTA, and here’s the long and short of it— you must apply and be selected to Cadet Wings! All AFTA students are pulled from those selected for Cadet Wings; there is no other way to get in. So if you want in, go apply now.

And we are DONE! Our last two students passed their flights this morning, and have earned their private pilot certificates! Thanks to all of the instructors and staff who came out for either part or all of the last 30 days to make this happen, and to the incredible support teams here at Columbus Municipal Airport who kept us flying!

29 days down, and 1 to go! It's been a busy week so far--after weather kept us on the ground for much of the week, our students are knocking out their practical tests! Congrats to Rachel, Estelle, and Oliver on your new certificates! One more day of work, graduation dinner, and a wakeup, and we're all headed home!
