Miss Brown’s class has had a lot of fun over the last week! Each day has been a different theme and they have completed a variety of reading, math and STEM activities! Such a fun way to practice all their first grade skills!!

Second graders wrapped up their Healthy Eating unit by researching the food groups and designing healthy plates.
Last Friday, they hosted their families for a healthy feast to practice building nutritious meals and trying new foods!
Water games were a big hit on this hot field day!!

It was circus day for Mrs. Jackson’s first graders! They completed a variety of circus themed reading and math activists and had a whole lot of fun! 🎡🎠🎢🎟️

This year, Minerva France students (and staff!) have had the opportunity to visit with a trained and certified Therapy Dog through Canine Companions! Students are referred by their teacher or counselor for support with: morale boosts, behavioral/emotional regulation, peer relationship and social skill building, positive reinforcement, and support with reading skills. Students use their time with Kamila to talk about their school days, any issues or concerns they might be facing, and as a space to reset, refocus and recharge!
The Therapy Dog program is supported by our Mental Health Specialist, Miss Lodge, who sits in on sessions to offer facilitation and guidance around presenting issues and concerns. Kamila and her handler, Elysabeth, have enjoyed their time at Minerva France, seeing and meeting Minerva France students!
Today Kamila got a makeover from some of our falcons! 💅🐶💕

Our fifth graders stepped into the spotlight with their Hall of Fame projects! 🏆 Each student chose an athlete who broke barriers and changed the world, researched their impact, and delivered powerful presentations. From courage to perseverance, these stories inspired us all!
