Our amazing second grade teachers are making the most of a well-deserved summer break! From creating magical memories with family at Disney World and Universal Studios to exploring the fascinating Museum of Illusions, they've been enjoying adventures near and far. They're also investing in their craft by participating in professional development, preparing for another incredible year of learning.

While summer is a time to relax, recharge, and make lasting memories, our second grade team is already looking forward to welcoming a new group of Wildcats into their classrooms. We can't wait to see all the excitement, creativity, and learning they have in store for the upcoming school year! 🐾💙

🐾 After School Pre-Registration is Open 🐾

Double Churches Elementary After School Program is more than just a place to stay after the school day—it’s a place where learners continue to grow! From engaging enrichment activities and academic support to hands-on learning and plenty of fun, our program provides a safe, exciting environment for students every afternoon.

✨ Pre-registration is open June 15 – July 3!

Spots are limited and our program fills up quickly each year, so we encourage families to register as early as possible to secure a place.

We can't wait for another year of learning, growing, and making memories with our Wildcats!

Our Kindergarten teachers and paraprofessionals are making the most of their summer break! From spending quality time with family and friends to exploring new places, trying delicious foods, and making special memories, they are enjoying a well-deserved season of fun and relaxation.

While they are already excited to welcome a brand-new class of Kindergarten Wildcats this fall, summer is an important time to recharge, refresh, and enjoy the adventures that make life special. We hope our DCE families are having a wonderful summer, too!

Muscogee County School District is offering FREE Child Find Screenings to help identify any supports or services a child may need before the school year begins. Early screening can help ensure a smooth transition to school and set students up for success from day one.

✅ Behavior & Social Skills

If you know a family who may benefit, please help us spread the word! Also note, if your child HAS attended school but is entering one of the listed grades, he or she is still eligible for screening.

Summer is in full swing for Double Churches Elementary! Over the next two months we will share what our faculty and staff are doing to enjoy their summer break!
While school may be out, our amazing Pre-K teachers and paraprofessionals are making the most of their well-deserved break. From relaxing by the pool and attending concerts to creating special memories with family and friends, they're soaking up every moment of summer fun.
We hope our DCE families are enjoying a wonderful summer as well.

As we wrap up another incredible school year at Double Churches Elementary, we want to celebrate our learners for their hard work, growth, and achievements across all areas of learning. Your dedication and perseverance have made this year one to be proud of, and we cannot wait to see all you will continue to accomplish.

We also extend a heartfelt thank you to our families for your continued support, encouragement, and partnership throughout the year. Your involvement plays a vital role in your child’s success and the strength of our school community.

Double Churches Elementary wants to spotlight our youngest Wildcats who earned their way into our PBIS Quarter 4 Water Day. These Pre-k learners have worked hard on their skills of being kind to others, persevering when learning gets tough & being respectful to teachers & peers. We are so proud of these soon to be kindergartners!
