💙🐾 What’s Happening Wednesday 🐾💙

We’re excited to introduce “You’ve Been Booked!”, a new literacy initiative created by Mrs. Morman to bring great books into our classrooms each month! 📖

Each grade-level book bag is thoughtfully curated to connect with upcoming themes, standards, and learning. Books will be refreshed on the last Monday of each month, giving our Wildcats more opportunities to read, explore new ideas, build vocabulary, and strengthen their background knowledge.

This is one more way we’re helping our Wildcats LEVEL UP in literacy! More great books. More meaningful reading experiences. More confident readers!

As a class they have read books & learned about what it takes to show kindness. To celebrate they made a kindness trail mix and shared with teachers in our building.

💙🐾 What’s Happening Wednesday 🐾💙

Our Wildcat Council is spreading a little gratitude!

Ms. Johnson and our Wildcat Council members took time to write heartfelt notes and put together special little gift bags for our bus drivers to thank them for all they do for our learners each day.

From the early mornings to the afternoon routes, our bus drivers play such an important role in keeping our Wildcats safe and getting them where they need to go. We appreciate you more than you know!

Today, Double Churches Elementary got surprise visit from a special Wildcat friend!

Our District Chief Operations Officer, Dr. Travis Anderson, stopped by DCE and jumped right in to assist during our Wildcat lunch! We are always grateful for district leaders who stop by to connect with our learners and staff.
