✨Let’s talk about seeing Submission as a Strength and Asset to a Marriage:

•Ephesians 5:21-33 talks about the husband and wife should submit to each other in their roles. God is the head of the family and the husband is the one who is the head of the wife, and they together lead the children. So the order of submission would go as the following God, husband, wife, and kids.

•Too often women and men forget that the Bible encourages women to respect their husbands, and that the husband should love their wives. Submission does not mean that we except abuse, or anything of that nature in our future marriages, no. Well, think of submission as honoring and serving one another.

•If a husband and wife are going to value what each one brings to a marriage, they have to understand that, even though they have two different roles, they are both created equally, and an image of God. So be genuine, and show your love for each other and communicate effectively.

✨FOLLOW UP QUESTION: We are all in different seasons of our lives, so I am curious, are you ready to submit to (love or respect) your future spouse or do you need to work on something’s to get there? If not how can I pray for you to get ready?

Happy Monday! Every person on the earth gets the same 24 hours a day to use. How over Winfrey, Michelle, Obama, Taraji, P, Henson, and so many other high-level women use their time is different than how we use our time. In case nobody has ever told you this. It is a matter of choice and thought. What are you choosing to put your time and energy towards? What are you choosing to think about and focus on throughout the day?

Something that I have been learning is that high-level people make it a point to speak life over themselves and those around them and they also make intentional choices to be happy generous and productive. I believe that in the current season that God has you in that, you can make the same choice to be happy, generous, and productive. Ladies I want to challenge you this week to look at your life and ask yourself what things are you doing that make you happy, generous, and productive. And if you find that you need to add more of these things to your life, then I would suggest to start making some changes and letting go of the things that God has not called for you to be doing in this season.

🙌Too often we look for people to reward us but I want you to know that God sees you and wants you to be encouraged that He sees your good deeds. We are commanded to love our enemies and to bless those that curse us. Mentally, emotionally, and Spiritually this can be the thing that frees us. Releasing those who have wronged us is something that God applauds us on. He will be the one to bring us all to our rightful place. Stay focused on pleasing God.

✨🕊️✨For those of you who don’t know, I have the world’s most handsome nephew. Everyday that I am with him, I am reminded that at some point in his 33 years on this earth, that Jesus was just like my nephew at some point. He was a baby, who was vulnerable, needed somebody to care for him, he needed constant love and support. Just like all babies, he needed to learn how to walk, crawl, and run. Today, as we celebrate Easter, the death of Jesus Christ and the Resurrection of Him as well, I hope that you remember how powerful it is, that Jesus came as a regular human being, and started from the beginning. He did not skip any steps towards His journey of becoming who God, and what God had designed for him to be a part of. I pray that you realize that the life of Jesus was meant to show us that (As a believer) we have the same power that lives on the inside of us, because of the one that raised him up from the dead. The Holy Spirit is the most powerful gift that Jesus left us with after his resurrection.
