🌧️ Rain or shine, our CCS family shows up! 💙💛

We are so thankful for the volunteers who came out to help freshen up our school grounds! Fresh mulch was spread around the playgrounds, the front landscaping was cleaned up, and everything is looking more welcoming as we prepare for another school year at Columbus Christian School.

We are blessed by people who are willing to roll up their sleeves and serve our school in such practical ways. Thank you for helping us take care of the place our students get to learn, grow, play, and make memories each day! 🦁

We are also looking for a few more helping hands throughout the year! If you would be willing to occasionally help with mowing or snow removal, please contact Geri in the CCS office. Many hands really do make light work!

Prayer for Christians in Public Schools (First Day of Classes)
Lord Jesus,
On this first day of school, we lift up every believer You have placed in our public schools—students, teachers, aides, administrators, and staff. Strengthen them with Your courage, Your clarity, and Your compassion.

Guard their hearts and minds.
Let their presence be quiet light in the hallways, steady peace in the classroom, and gentle witness in every conversation.
Give them wisdom when challenges arise, patience when the day grows long, and joy that cannot be shaken.

Help them work with excellence, speak with grace, and love their neighbors well.
Make them instruments of Your peace in places where many children desperately need hope, stability, and kindness.

Bless their year.
Protect their schools.
And let Your Spirit go before them in every step.

The countdown is on! 🎉 We’re excited to welcome students back to Columbus Christian School for another wonderful year of learning, growing, and building a strong foundation in faith.

We still have a few limited openings available in our preschool program for children ages 3–5. At CCS, students enjoy small class sizes, caring teachers, hands-on learning, and a Christ-centered environment where each child is known and valued.

School begins August 17, so now is the perfect time to schedule a tour and learn more about joining the CCS family!
