Today is one of those days that fills our hearts with so much pride… and just a little bit of sadness.
Tonight we celebrate four incredible graduates as they leave EEPS and head off to pre-K or kindergarten to do big things.
It’s amazing to think back to where it all started. We watched them learn their colors, shapes, letters, and numbers. We celebrated as they recognized their names, wrote them for the first time, counted with confidence, and discovered a love for books and learning.
But our job has always been about so much more than academics.
We changed diapers, warmed bottles, celebrated the switch to sippy cups and then big-kid cups. We cheered through potty training, wiped tears, gave countless hugs, tied shoes, encouraged friendships, practiced kindness, and helped build confidence one small moment at a time.
We’ve watched these little ones grow into capable, funny, kind, curious children who are ready for their next adventure.
Saying goodbye is never easy. They become part of our EEPS family, and a little piece of our hearts goes with each child who walks out our doors for the last time.
To our four graduates: Thank you for letting us be part of your story. We hope you always remember that you are loved, you are capable, and you can do amazing things.
Congratulations! We are so proud of you and can’t wait to see all the big things your future holds.
