Ms. Harmon and several of our high school students recently visited PACCAR for National Manufacturing Day. Organized in part by the National Association of Manufacturers, students from surrounding schools visit to learn about robotics, precision machining, and high-tech careers. They also learn how PACCAR designs and manufactures in-house their axles, engines, and transmissions.

October is Thank a Principal Month and our Panther Family would like to give a huge SHOUT OUT to our fearless leaders. We appreciate all these two do each day for our staff and students.

West Lowndes High School is proud of Carmen Hairston’s Act of Kindness. She assembled treat bags for each of the elementary students involved in the recent school bus accident. Carmen stated that she wanted those students to know that we are thinking of them at WLHS. Carmen is a Sophomore and member of Student Council.

October 2nd was School Custodian Day and we were on Fall Break. That didn't stop the West Lowndes High School Panther Family from celebrating these men for the work they do on our campus. Student Council students presented them with Thank You cards and goody bags as a token of appreciation for the wonderful job they do each and every day.

Seniors in Ms.Tameka Rice's class visited the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis today. These students learned valuable information on the history of Civil Rights in our country.
