We had a great day at CDE competitions today!

🌲🔥 FFA Forestry Day

Yesterday, some of our CDE teams learned from the Shelby County Foresters! Students practiced measuring trees with a Biltmore stick, timber cruising, tree ID, and using a compass. They also explored careers in forestry and got to participate in a prescribed burn.

Great hands-on learning experience!

Savannah Berry our chapter president showed great leadership in today’s State Officer interviews—proud of the effort and growth!

Congratulations to our President, , for earning the Shelby County Cattlemen’s Association scholarship!

Fern sale starts tomorrow! Vegetable plants and flowers will be sold first week of April!

We had the best meeting today!
-We gave out chapter and greenhand degrees!
-We had a door prize raffle!
-Congratulations to Bobby Lee for finding the FFA emblem- he won the belt buckle!
-Congratulations to Will Dixon for having the best coloring sheet!
-We even had a few boys enjoying a little bromance picnic! (Yogi Bear even made an appearance!)
Our officers have been working hard painting and building this bull all week for the rodeo.
Tonight we get to help work at the rodeo!
