Dave Frank is a co-founder of New York School of Jazz 1983-87; he was Associate Professor of Piano at Berklee College of Music 1987 -2006. He is the author of Hal Leonard's Best Selling improv series, "Joy of Improv," and "Breakthrough to Improv" as well as the new "Joy of Improv for Guitar'; a contributing artist and member of the Jazzheads Music Group, recording artist; AND was Jazz Ambassador for the US State Department 1995-2010. He currently directs the Dave Frank School of Jazz in New York. There are over 37 thousand subscribers to his YouTube channel with free in-depth jazz/piano master classes, performance videos, and more sensational content. Dave Frank has been featured in articles in Jazz Scan, Notes on Jazz, Broadway World, a Patch Article about the Jazzheads 2018 Piano Festival.
