Yesterday was my last class as a professor at Benedict College. Retiring after 35 years. I can't imagine my life without my Benedict family. Thank you for letting me be part of your lives. LOVE YOU! BIG HHUUGGSS!

"Benedict placed four players on the preseason All-SIAC first team, led by two-time All-SIAC offensive lineman Justin Brown. Headlining the defensive side of the ball are defensive lineman Charles Williams, defensive back Travionte Brown and linebacker Xavier George, who led the team in tackles last season. I Am Benedict congratulates Benedict College Professor of Religion and Theology, Dr. Harry Singleton III, who has published his third book, Divine Liberation and Human Liberation. Discussing the "disparate ways blacks and whites have experienced American history and subsequently the way they have fashioned God’s communication to humans," Dr. Singleton emphasizes the historically dehumanizing struggle for black liberation, arguing that God's Word does not compel black oppression.
