Our Boys Ministry Camp starts Monday -it's not too late to sign up! Boys entering grades 6-9 will grow in their faith, build confidence, and form meaningful friendships - while enjoying pizza, playing football and ultimate frisbee. This camp is being offered FREE of charge - but all participants must be registered!

During teacher appreciation week, our NJHS students put their creative skills to work in honor of our amazing faculty. Later in the week, NHS hand delivered superlative style awards to every faculty and staff member in the building. These small acts of kindness meant so much to the recipients!

It was a busy and exciting semester for our theatre students!

Our Musical Theatre class delighted audiences with a production of "The Rainbow Fish," bringing the beloved story to life through colorful costumes, music, and dance. Meanwhile, students in our Junior Drama Class performed "Murder on the 518" for families, classmates, and faculty under the direction of Drama III Honors students Violet Shenkar and Monica Serrano as part of their Directing Lab experience. Several Drama Club members also joined the production in supporting roles.

From performing on stage to directing behind the scenes, our students showcased tremendous creativity, collaboration, and talent. Bravo to all involved! 🎭✨

🔬 Welcome to Cardinal Newman, Andrew Kaman! We are excited to welcome Andrew "Drew" Kaman to our Science Department for the upcoming school year.

With more than 16 years of experience teaching science in grades 7-12, Mr. Kaman brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and classroom expertise to Cardinal Newman. Most recently, he taught AP Chemistry in New York, where his students consistently achieved exceptional results on both AP and state assessments. Mr. Kaman takes great pride in helping students grow as critical thinkers, problem-solvers, and lifelong learners. Please join us in giving Mr. Kaman a warm Cardinal Newman welcome! ⚛️🧪🔭

🎶 Welcome (back) to Cardinal Newman, Katie Brook! We are excited to announce that Katie Brook will join Cardinal Newman School as our new Band & Orchestra Director.

A Columbia native, UofSC grad, and recent Ok. State master's grad, Katie brings extensive experience as a performer and as an educator. She is a familiar face to many in our community, having previously taught students through the Cardinal Newman Private Lessons Academy.

Her passion for music and dedication to student growth make her the perfect addition to our faculty. We can't wait to see the impact she will have on our talented young musicians. Please join us in giving Ms. Brook a warm Cardinal Newman welcome! 🎺🎻🎼

Our seventh graders have spent the last few days in a workshop-focused on building leadership skills and practicing the virtues they learned this year. Cheers to a great summer! ☀️ 😎 🌴 ⚾️

What a weekend for Cardinal Newman Quiz Bowl at Nationals in Orlando! 🏆🧠

From fierce competition to unforgettable memories, our students represented CN with excellence, enthusiasm, and class.

👏 Special congratulations to Henry Wilson and Luca Buru, who were Novice Division playoff finalists in a brand-new category recognizing “up-and-coming stars” attending Nationals for the first time!

Congratulations to Coach Briody, who won the National Teachers’ Bee Championship for the THIRD consecutive year — remaining the only champion in the event’s history. Even more impressive? He secured the title against a 3-time Jeopardy champion and former History Bowl champion… all with our students cheering him on!

The weekend also included trips to Universal Studios, Collect-a-Con, lots of team bonding, and (according to reports) a concerning amount of ice cream. 🍦
