Discovery Days Preschool is a faith-based program of the Missouri United Methodist Church. Discovery Days provides a nurturing and well-supervised environment for spiritual, cognitive, physical, social, and emotional growth. Daily prayer, Christian songs, and chapel are a part of this program for toddlers through Pre-K (age 1 through 4 as of August 1st). The experienced staff enjoys teaching child

ren and offers creative, developmentally appropriate activities designed to enhance a child’s social, self-help and discovery skills while respecting each child’s individual needs. Discovery Day operates on:
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays during the school year. For more information on space availability and cost, please contact Courtney Gaunt, director, at 573-875-4886.

After 24 wonderful years as Preschool Director I will be stepping into a new role within our church. I am so grateful for the children, families and staff who have been apart of this journey. I’m excited that our new Director, Emily Johnson, is a longtime teacher at DD and an active church member, and our Assistant Director will continue in her role. I know the preschool will continue to thrive in loving and capable hands. Thank you for all the support and memories over the years ❤️

One week from today: Ash Wednesday! Start the season of Lent with Missouri UMC. ✝ We'll have 7 am worship for the morning people and a 7 pm worship for the night owls. Both services are family friendly.
