Statement of Unity Signing Ceremony Announced

USCSJ HQ MEMPHIS – Today Sovereign Grand Commander Dr. Corey D. Hawkins, Sr., 33º, announced the United Supreme Council, 33º, Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Prince Hall Affiliation, Southern Jurisdiction, USA, Inc., would be a participant in the Statement of Unity Signing, scheduled to take place on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at 10:00am EST.

Historically, the Articles of Union of 1881, marked the creation of the regular United Supreme Councils of Prince Hall Freemasonry, establishing the Northern Jurisdiction and Southern Jurisdiction, respectively. As a result, both United Supreme Councils amalgamated the original bodies of the Scottish Rite, to ensure the regularity of Prince Hall Scottish Rite institutions.

2022 marks the year the regular Supreme Councils of the United States of America will partake in a once in a lifetime event, heralded as the Statement of Unity Ceremony.
