It’s Dr. Oliver’s favorite day of the year- CONSTITUTION DAY!! Constitution Day celebrates the signing of the United States Constitution on September 17, 1787. While July 4th marks independence, September 17th marks the creation of the federal government and framework of laws.

Join us for the Alumni Association Parade Party at The Marquee, the Homecoming Parade down Main Street, pregame festivities at the Alumni Tent, Alumni Recognition, and of course, Cougar football under the Friday night lights!

This year, we will be giving special recognition to all graduating classes ending in 1 and 6, so make plans to come back, reconnect with old friends, and celebrate your Cougar years!

In Mrs. Mandy’s 4th grade science and math class, we are learning how important it is to be accurate when measuring. So many things depend on accurate measurements!

We practiced measuring different parts of our bodies, including our hands, shoes, and wrists, using centimeters. The students enjoyed measuring and comparing their measurements while practicing accuracy.

We have also been studying seeds, plants, and trees. We learned about conifers and discovered that their seeds are found inside cones. One of our favorite activities was testing pinecones in water to see if they are open or close.

The students had a great time making observations and seeing science happen right before their eyes!

A huge thank you to FBC Columbia for loving on our teachers and staff yesterday! 💙🧡

They treated each of them to a little something on them; whether it’s a coffee, favorite drink, or a quick bite to eat!

Pastor Brett, Jennifer Baker, and Kara Eldin stopped by to deliver the gifts, and it absolutely made their day! We are so thankful for our community and the many ways they show their love and support for CA!
