This week, HCC hosted the Building Maryland’s Cyber Workforce Employer Apprenticeship Forum, bringing together employers, state leaders, and workforce partners to address one of today’s most pressing challenges: developing and retaining skilled cybersecurity talent.
A special thank you to Secretary Wu, Maryland Department of Labor, and Secretary Coker, Maryland Department of Commerce, for sharing insights on how apprenticeship programs support Maryland’s economic vision and help employers build sustainable talent pipelines across industries.
Attendees also engaged in a dynamic employer panel, interactive Q&A, and resource fair focused on practical strategies, partnership opportunities, and actionable next steps for expanding cybersecurity talent through apprenticeship.
Thank you to our partners and everyone who joined the conversation and contributed to strengthening Maryland’s workforce future.
