PHA LOVE SPOTLIGHT ✨
To continue to highlight the love that forms not only in our own chapters but throughout our community, we have Sonya Schwer () and Tian Schulte ().
Sonya’s Message: “Tian, you are genuinely the sweetest and most bubbly person I have ever met! Your heart is so big for everyone around you, I admire how selfless you are and the kindness and compassion you give out unconditionally. Having you as a summer roomie was the best gift I could have received at the time, I truly looked forward to seeing your smiling face every time I got home. You have taught me so much when it comes to compassion and finding brightness in life. There has never been a time when you haven’t made my day better, and I know that you have the same impact on so many others around you! I have adored you since recruitment, and it’s no coincidence that we were paired as random roommates not once but twice! I’m so excited to continue to watch you grow in college and adult life; I am so incredibly proud of the woman that you are growing to be. Thank you for all of your encouragement and love!”
Tian’s Message: “Sonya and I first met during the sisterhood round of recruitment, I immediately loved her energy and her smile but after running home to Kappa on bid day, life moved quickly and we didn’t see each other for a whole semester. Over winter break, we were randomly assigned to the same room at a Christian conference. That weekend brough back memories from recruitment and light up many conversations as we kept discovering how much we had in common. Now I get to call her my sister and genuinely one of my closest friends. Sonya, I am so grateful for you and for this beautiful friendship we share. You are truly one of the kindest and sweetest people I know. From late night facetime calls to Whataburger at 1am, I can always be completely myself around you with my goofy personality and endless energy. I look up to you from your involvement on campus and the way you give back to your community, especially your love for animals. Thank you for always supporting me and encouraging me. I can’t wait to see how our friendship continues to grow.”
