This is why policies that support women matter. Access to care, economic security, and opportunity are ALL connected, and too many South Carolinians are still facing barriers that policy can help address.

Pride belongs here, too. 🏳️🌈
This month and every month, we’re celebrating LGBTQ+ joy, resilience, and leadership across South Carolina.
We’re also holding deep gratitude for the organizations, advocates, and community partners who show up year-round creating safer spaces, expanding access to care, protecting rights, building community, and reminding people that they are not alone.
Follow and support the partners doing this work across our state: SC United for Justice & Equality, SC Equality, We Are Family, Harriet Hancock LGBT Center, and Alliance For Full Acceptance.
Happy Pride, South Carolina.

Summer break is almost here ☀️ but for many families, that doesn’t mean things get easier.
When school is out, parents and caregivers are left figuring out childcare, summer camps, work schedules, transportation, and rising costs all at once. For too many families, care is too expensive, too limited, or too hard to access.
As summer approaches, we’re reminded that families need more than temporary solutions. They need affordable, accessible childcare that supports parents, caregivers, children, and communities across South Carolina.

South Carolina’s statewide primaries are currently scheduled for Tuesday, June 9, and early voting is from May 26-June 5!
